In Leonor Fini's salon, five cat-humans accompany the metamorphosis of a sixth. The Salon adapts the preface to Histoires et légendes du chat* (1973), in which Fini celebrates the cat as a perfect, mysterious, and familiar being, free yet bound to humans. Through a silent ritual, the film explores the blurred boundaries between animal and human, sacred and profane.
