Nomadism,
temporal connection and new feminine longings is an experimental video and sonic piece
exploring cyclical identity, embodied movement, and digital intimacy. Using the
dancefloor as a metaphorical and physical territory of transformation, the work
combines archival dance music, visual traces, and feminine-coded rituals to
propose a more fluid and responsive mode of connection across time and space.
Visually the film is based on a edit of a rare video recording of Clara Rockmore
performing on the Theremin “The Swan” by Saint-Saëns from 1976. The
sound composition as well is by Maria Bilbao·Herrera.
