I’m Sorry I’m Late explores the psychological deteriorations caused by invisible
labor and stress. Using moments from the tv show The
Avengers, imagery hints at disruption, dissolution, and violence. The ethereal
soundscape uses re-edited clips to blend thoughts, memories, and interactions
as they take over. Using replication, destruction, and re-construction of
images and sound, the film gives voice to an unnamed character’s internal and
external self.
