The element of time defines the form of the experimental short film
DOUBLE SPEED HALF TIME. Changes in the speed of the movement sequences
and alteration in the shooting speed create an interplay of image and
time. The chosen perspectives create a space that is not tangible. The
result is a kind of split screen in space, which is created by working
with mirrors and enables a three-dimensional conception of the
choreography. The combination of movement, time, space and sound can be
understood as an experimental approach to the basic elements of the
moving image and the interface between photography and film. The
boundaries between working with analog and digital means become blurred
by using analog Super 8 material which is digitally transformed.
