In 2023, MACHO 80.7443.1718 was identified as the most extreme “heartbeat star” to date—a binary system with light curves resembling EKG rhythms. While telescopes reveal cosmic phenomena, AI in medicine generates synthetic X-ray and MRI images to noninvasively visualize internal organs. The experimental video work weaves together stellar and medical data with pop culture and historical Super 8 home movies. It explores how we expand our consciousness - scientifically, technologically, and emotionally - while simultaneously questioning future shifts in our worldview.
